Class Information
I teach Physical Education to all students here at Ewing Grade School, K-8. My main goal in all my PE classes is to keep kids active and moving! I use both traditional and non-traditional games to accomplish this goal. All students in grades 3 -8 are required to complete the state fitness assessment annually. The test is administered in the spring, but practiced throughout the school year. The Fitnessgram test measures aerobic capacity, flexibility, muscular endurance and muscular strength. The tests administered are the Pacer, sit and reach or trunk lift, curl ups and push-ups. You can visit the Useful Links for more detailed information on the Fitnessgram test.
