Hello My Name Is...

Sara Wilson

Mrs. Wilson

My name is Sara Wilson. I am the 2
nd grade teacher at Ewing Grade School. This is my fourth year teaching second grade, and I thoroughly enjoy my job! Before teaching second grade, I taught fourth grade, here at Ewing, for six years. Before that, I taught two years of Title One. I live in Benton with my husband, Garrett, and my two daughters, Ellie and Oakley. We have two inside dogs, two outside dogs, one rabbit, two goats, one cat, two kittens, and lots of chickens. I enjoy being outdoors and doing activities, such as hunting and gardening. I love to spend time with my family as well! I attended Ewing Grade School as a child and graduated in 2003. I attended Benton High School and am a 2007 graduate. I attended Rend Lake College on a tennis scholarship for two years and obtained my Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees. I attend Southern Illinois University of Carbondale and graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Education degree in 2011. This past spring, I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University. I have spent the majority of my life as a Ewing Warrior, and I am proud of it!
